5 Amazing Vintage Fashion Pieces – Thrifted Thursday

A roundup of 5 amazing vintage fashion pieces that have caught my attention this week.

No shopping guilt here! The selling, buying and rewearing of clothes stop them ending up in landfill. 

First up is this silk scarf. There are so many ways to wear a silk scarf, check out this Pinterest Board for inspiration. I particularly like wearing a scarf in my hair, it freshens up a whole outfit without being too high maintenance. You can find a silk scarf in literally any secondhand or vintage shop – whether online or brick and mortar – in a whole host of different styles, colours and fabrics.

This silk sequinned vest would look amazing with anything high waisted. Jeans, skirt or even shorts if you are feeling super brave! I would be surprised if this jumpsuit is available for much longer. I want to buy it and wear it every day. It is from the 60’s and appears to be in immaculate condition. It would be great for a special occasion and is in my size so you might have to fight me for it!

A 1990’s Moschino skirt. I love 90’s vintage fashion because the cut was often high waisted, as it is with this skirt. And who doesn’t love a silk rainbow stripe?! Literally pick and of the colours to wear with it

I was attracted by the print on this blouse and think it would look fab with a pair of high waisted jeans. I’m not sure if I could pull off the pussy bow neckline however, I do love the sleeves and the colours of the print. It is from 1stDibs –  which is an online marketplace for beautiful antiques, art, furniture and high end vintage fashion.
