For spring days at home
The warm sunshine has started to return to Berlin. It makes staying at home a bit easier, for those who have an outside space at least. I always gravitate towards lighter colours in the warmer months not least because my Scottish skin can’t cope with the heat of dark jeans in the blazing sunshine.
My husband said I looked like I was Prince Charles on a safari wearing this. I took it as a compliment haha although who knows if it was meant to be. I’d rather look like Diana if I’m honest! I’m just not one of those people that can wear workout clothes all day at home, although I’m not judging anyone who does. It definitely makes more sense to be comfortable.
The blouse is vintage and the jeans are made from organic cotton. The shoes are handmade in Spain if I remember correctly. I haven’t bought anything new for this season yet. It seems a bit of a waste when the highlight of my day is sitting in the garden. Vintage shopping this spring will be relegated to online, and unfortunately, Oxfam has had to close their secondhand online shop for now. Saying that there is always a joy in looking out last years summer clothes and wearing old favourites again.
