Narrations LDN – A New Favourite Vintage Shop?

A considerable part of my albeit small wardrobe is either vintage or secondhand pieces. I have my favourite places to hunt down bargains, see here for example. I’m always open to finding new haunts, however. Instagram is a great place to do this if you are willing to put in the time.

Narrations LDN have a beautiful account that I love to browse. With a curated selection of feminine and timeless vintage clothing for women. The shop is run by Aleks, who has an evident eye for picking out vintage that women want to wear. Everything is cleaned and mended before being sold and sent out of London.

I picked up this handmade white cotton blouse, thought to be from the 1900s. I’m betting whoever wore it the first time around didn’t pair it with jeans. But in 2020 it’s a match made in heaven.

Aleks has also picked out a wonderful selection of vintage lingerie that I’ve been eyeing up. Who says I can’t shimmy around in a vintage 1930s silk slip?? She has a lovely selection of dresses too. Take a look at Narrations LDN here and also on Etsy.
