Preloved Shoes: Preloved Glitter

A bit of sparkle

A pair of preloved shoes I bought at the end of last year. I wanted a perfect festive party shoe. And came up with these after trawling a few of my most used secondhand websites. A sparkly glittery triumph!

Glitter, unfortunately, isn’t great for the environment. Essentially it is just tiny particles of plastic waiting to wash into our waterways. And there are so many glitter and sequin clothes and shoes for sale in the shops. By buying a pair that is already in circulation it means that they will at least be used.

And they have been used a lot over the winter party season. These shoes provide a festive sparkle to everything I wear even if they do hurt badly by the end of the night!

Preloved shoes are from Vestaire Collective, the silk dress is also secondhand from Oxfam and the ribbon is leftover from a gift I received ages ago. For everything else I’m wearing this season, click here.
