A Favourite From Last year – Silk Top From Oxfam

Maybe Should Have Ironed it First…Silk OXFAM Top

I started looking out summer clothes and came across this top. It is a beautiful green silk. I picked it up last year from the Oxfam online shop; which is currently offline at the moment due to COVID 19. The top is the kind of thing I would have worn years ago when I was on a night out back in Scotland. I’d probably wake up the next day with it in a pile on the floor and random alcohol stains on it. Thankfully I’m a lot more careful about my clothes nowadays.

I’ve been wearing it on those spring days with jeans when it’s warm enough. Last summer I tended to wear it with a midi skirt, but I haven’t been wearing dresses so much this year probably because I’ve been at home for about two months. However, Berlin is slowly coming out of hiding again, so I’m looking forward to wearing something that isn’t jeans.

I’ll be uploading my spring capsule wardrobe in the next week or so. I love dressing for spring in Berlin because the weather is so changeable. I’ve kept it quite basic this season as I’ve spent the majority of the time at home and in the garden. There is no fancy in Spring 2020!
