Secondhand Obvs…

If you think buying secondhand boots is untoward; the reality is the majority of secondhand boots for sale have never even been worn. I see them all the time in different shapes, sizes and colours; often still with the stickers still on the sole. For whatever reason, people buy them and end up dropping them off at the charity shop after figuring out they don’t work for them.
I found these suede boots lurking on the Oxfam website for a fraction of what they would have cost new. The green suede is so pretty. I’ve been wearing them with tights or jeans this winter and will wear them bare-legged when the temperatures start to rise.
Unlike with clothing, I find it easier to shop secondhand for shoes and boots online. The reason being it’s more practical to filter the correct size. I browse now and then to see what’s available, rather than waiting until the last minute. My favourite secondhand places to shop for shoes are Oxfam, Etsy, Vestaire Collective, eBay and Depop.
The silk blouse is also vintage; the jeans are old, bracelets are family heirlooms and holiday souvenirs. For everything else I’m wearing this season, click here.
