I’m a big fan of Sienna Miller’s style. She manages to look cool while wearing the simplest outfits. This week I’ve searched out this simple look to recreate a simple Sienna style using secondhand and vintage pieces.
First up is this vintage white t shirt with embroidery detail. Another option, if you are feeling fancy, would be to look for a plain white t shirt and embroider it yourself.
These sunglasses are from the 1930s. However, they have been updated. Peep Eyewear takes vintage frames and update them with new optical lenses. You can choose the colour of the lenses and add a prescription too. This means you can have a true vintage style with the addition of UV safe lenses. They have a special discount for the rest of April if you sign up for their newsletter!
For the jeans, I chose this secondhand cropped pair, found on eBay.(They have now been sols, sorry!) Other places that have a good selection of secondhand jeans are Depop, Asos Marketplace, and Etsy. Be careful if you are buying vintage jeans because the sizing has changed a lot! Also, older jeans didn’t have as much stretch as they do today. It is worth getting the tape measure out.
Sienna is carrying a small red bag, I found a similar vintage one from the 1950’s here. It might look like something the queen would wear but it works well with jeans and a tee too.
I am seriously considering buying these boots, it just so happens they are in my size! Lace up, black boots which are channeling the 90’s trend, probably because they actually are from the 90’s.
I’ve said it before but Etsy is a great place to find secondhand and vintage jewellery. I love the look of this emerald and gold necklace. As always there are plenty of cheaper options too.
